WeeGee was once the most well known photographer of New York city crime scenes. His pictures documented the violent crimes and tragedies that occurred in his beloved city. Could add something about:
1) What W's own life experience seems to bring to his work
2) Ethical problems with the photos, at least in terms of backprojecting today's standards e.g. voyeurism, less than informed consent, staging etc
3) The overall value of such photos as qualitative method with SA.
