My visit to a cultural site

Hello Flynn: I still had this blog on my menu bar and decided to take a peek while cleaning up my bookmarks. I was excited to see your posts and read them all. Very interesting to read your thoughts. I especially like your questions regarding the native americans.

Please keep it up. Kristi (aka Thistledown from Lineage)

Thistle! It's so very nice to hear from you again. I still ask Andrew how you're doing. Im still such a silly twit I feel all embarrased even thinking of sending you an email inquiring about how your life online and off has been doing.

But yes I have started using this journal again, I dont know if you saw but it is part of an online sociological portfolio. My proffessor will probably be posting her own comments. Im going to try to contine to expand on it. Just a little news for you that won't be covered in this journal, Katz (Kelly) is coming to live with me in the end of August so its a very exicting time. :)

Do you still have the bresnan.net email?

Their web site is pretty good too for a virtual experience. How did you get involved with The Drum? It is not always easy for an "outsider" to gain enough trust to be able to work for an organ of aboriginal culture like this? You give a nice characterization of the tour and your urges to probe beneath the glimpses of tribal history and cultural highlights provided. Is there any way to find out more about who selects these scripts and decides what to include/exclude? Anyway, you could add a summary paragraph at the end taking this further, e.g. re the de-emphasis on tribal conflict. Overall, what do they want us to see and why??
