He was a bear of a man who cast a long shadow. People of a certain age would cross the street when they saw the wide stride coming. Dogs and Children where not to be deceived however, for the deliberate motion and soft eyes told them of a gentle heart. Sometimes parts of (as yet) unwritten stories get stuck in my head and I can only get them out by putting them down in writing. These are three distinct scenes in my head that just kept replaying until I dumped them here. Normally I lock the post.... missed it this time.

oh well..we shall see what people think.

I love it, and would definitely keep reading. And I usually don't read writers who haven't been dead for at least 100 years.
