Meditative Thoughts

One, Is there any negative or conflictive emotion whose source can not be attributed to ignorance?

Two, Is will power counter or supportive to the concept of dependent rising?

Three, Is there any manly man who dislikes Hells Bells by AC_DC?

Anger is sometimes rooted in the absence of ignorance.

Anger at others is usually ignorance of their perspective, anger at their hatred is their ignorance, anger at oneself is ignorance of the human condition... I guess I would need the specific example.

Could I ask you to elaborate please? This is interesting to me. :)

I confess that I stumble over the word "ignorance," in that it is not a neutral term for me - it connotes wilfulness and complicity in one's unknowing. Are you speaking simply of unknowing?

I would say that I can be quite well-informed of someone's perspective, and be angry because of that information, hence anger arising out of the absence of ignorance.

"Anger at oneself is ignorance of the human condition" - I think this is too passive and excuses too much.

Ignorance can be both simply not knowing and refusing to see what is there. Either way, if they knew wouldn't they know better ( ... )

Thank you. I was worried that no one made it to point three.
