OK, this may be hooky but you don't have to do it, I'm just curious. I am going to put up a weeks worth of happiness exercises. Then at the end of the week, I want to see if it helped. I think this is an awsome idea. I know I feel better doing a single act of kindness during the day. 5 is a bit of a stretch, but probably worth it.

good idea but i try to do this as a rule an look where it has gotten me...

pluse i would have to see 5 random people.. i saw 2 yesterday aand i did open the door for one of them.

It may sound hokey, but I like it. I'll go slow and try to do one thing. Maybe one less evil thing too. :-)

I would think that doing/saying nice things online to people would also count.

I know I've appreciated the support I've gotten from my friends, here on LJ and elsewhere.

We may have to do 10 nice things in order to balance out the inevitable 5 evil things we can't stop ourselves from doing :P

I'm sorry this can't count for you as you certainly had no clue what this would do for me. But this just made my day immeasurably better. Just knowing someone is doing this helps.
