I haven't been home in ages. This feels weird.

I've been hanging out with boys for so long now that it was great to see Dina again, more than just for coffee or a quick visit. Boys are fun, but living with two and spending so much time with one other makes me need some girl company.

Tomorrow I'm sending a letter to the family who bought our family's old house a year ago. The father died last week. The whole chain of events was quite horrifying, actually. He was a healthy man, a little over 30, father of two, then out of the blue: cancer. Everywhere. Two months to live and that's it. His younger girl is not even two years old ( Read more... )

I woke up feeling really raw this morning. The boys had been smoking inside and I hate waking up to the smell of old smoke.
