Where Wicca is very outward focused (i.e. spells, deity honouring, etc.) most of the aspects of Druidry is more -inward- focused, i.e. attuning oneself with nature, gleaning greater understanding of oneself, etc. I still incorporate a lot of the druidic teachings into my current belief system, though I've moved away from polytheism to more of a taoist approach. There's actually a ton of parallels btwn druidry and taoism; the Awen and the Tao are basically the same thing. So.. yeah. :) Cool stuff

Stimulating...engaging...I like what you've done with the place!moviestarkittenNovember 12 2005, 00:27:12 UTC
I performed a random search which lead me to someone's pitiful livejournal with one update. You had posted a comment on the journal which was interesting to me so I checked out your livejournal...and it is really neat. I hope you don't mind but I'm going to add you. I will continue reading and very possibly post some comments. Ciao, Sara
Also I love Buffy as well and Sailor MoonmoviestarkittenNovember 12 2005, 00:30:05 UTC
I just thought I would passionately agree with you. Buffy is one of the most wonderful shows and has the capability to reach a person on every facet. I own all seven dvd box sets. Have you ever seen Angel? Is that any good. I've never seen Angel, but I wanted to. I also hoped to see Firefly since I believe Joss Whedon to be a t.v. genius.

How delightful, and welcome new friend. I'm sorry not to have responded sooner, I've been so busy. I've also addded you as a friend and look forward to getting to know you.

I considered myself pagan for many years, though the path I followed was druidry rather that wicca. :D
