After 12 years of marriage and at least 8 years of "consciously trying"... Dan and I are p-r-e-g-n-a-n-t. We hadn't started fertility treatments or adoption yet, but were due to pursue those this summer. We're ridiculously happy, and hoping this news reaches those who read these things- and finds you well- if we haven't already contacted you

I can't believe I never follow up posted here to thank everyone for the well wishes for our pregnancy! (smacks self up side of head!) Thank you, thank you, for the well wishes. Our boy is 2 now and so beautiful, kind, and amazing. Of course I'm biologically commanded to say that- but really it's true.
