Big and Tall stores tend to be more expensive. Yes I can order stuff, yes I can go to specialty stores, yes the shoes are available if I really hunt for them. The real problem is that I shouldn't have to. It seems to me that somebody is being economically negligent if the shoe stores always run out of larger shoes in a day after receiving a shipment, but end up putting hundreds of 9's-12's on sale due to overstocking.

And besides, in the end I just wanted something to bitch about.

I feel the same way about plus-sized clothing. Hoo, boy. Don't get me started.

Not to mention, not everyone has narrow feet. Some people have high arches AND wide feet, since your feet flatten and widen as you get older (that whole gravity nonsense). So what, are young people the only ones who buy shoes? (....they may be the only ones to buy three pairs of shoes instead of making a mortgage payment, but I mean really, whose faults is that?)
