That's me. I'm a friend who is going to Glasgow in a little over a month to do my Masters degree (and PhD and ideally would be allowed to stay long past then)

I'll be at Cardiff and Birmingham concerts too. Any hope to meet in Cardiff? (as I go home straight after Birmingham... work the next morning)

JA! JA! of course! looking to meet up with as many people as possible while i'm there. Would love to meet up for dinner or drinks or something before/after the show. Not sure everyone's plans yet but we'll put togeather a meet up.

We're driving back to London after birmingham show as well, not sure how late we're staying in the city there :)!

Oh, good, looking forward to that. Cardiff would be easier as I will travel down during the Saturday and then share a room with a friend for the night before travelling back towards Coventry. Let me know the details and I'll arrange my travel accordingly :D

Birmingham would be tougher... I work both Tuesday and Wednesday - no rest for the wicked.

there's a girl on my flist galaxy_song who will probably be going. She's from Glasgow... you know, I've been friends with her on LJ for years, she lives in the same city as me and yet we've never ever met in RL!

Health issues and a complete lack of cash are making it look like my UK trip will be cancelled :(

The Lack of cash is hurting me as well, basically i'm paying for half of the trip on a credit card to be paid later.

Smart? eh probably not, do I care, not really I need this.

I also couldn't afford it if I wasn't sharing hotel rooms/couch surfing the whole way.

That's what I did last time and it saved me lotsa bucks. Mostly it's a health thing, but then I just got smacked with some unexpected expenses this week, so I think it's out :{

But I'll cheer you on with just a hint of envy *LOL
