More Dream Logs

Mar 16, 2005 21:38

Since nobody replied to the last post, and I wasn't surprised, I figure I'll keep posting these. It seems to be hard for people to put the smallest, more menial of comments in my journal, where it's quite easy for them to do the same thing in other people's journals. Oh well, go FIG.

The dream took place mostly in the classrooms in the Humber comedy building. Brendan McKegan (sp?) was giving some sort of performance, and then all of a sudden he started swearing out of nowhere.

It wasn't anything stereotypical, though, and nobody made any sort of Tourette Syndrome joke. But I kind of made a joke in saying that we should coin the term "spontaneo-copro-litis." Brendan and the rest of the people in class liked this idea, and so it was agreed upon and officially coined.

But it did turn out to be some sort of contageous thing, because several other people then "caught" it, and started doing it, too. Regardless, we all had a good laugh at our uncontrolable bout of spontaneocoprolitis. Spontaneocoprolitis, not to be confused with the same stereotypical, misconstrued joke about Tourette Syndrome being "the swearing disease".

Then I woke up.

(Author's note: A little later in the day after having woken up, I came up with several more Tourette jokes to add and possibly incorporate into my stand up set. Quite the helpful dream.)

Number Four

(Author's note: I woke up and went back to sleep several times before I finally got and stayed up. Each time I did, I had another dream but didn't write it down because I was just way too tired and needing to get back to sleep... though I probably should have. This is the last one before I stayed up.)

I was in a café sitting at a table talking with a girl maybe a year or two younger than me. I "met" her through some sort of internet dating thing. It was really weird, too, because the database would just sort of pop up in my head, and I could search through it by thinking, and when I found a girl I wanted to meet, I selected her and immediately she'd be sitting at the table with me.

This one girl, though, who was about a year younger than me... she was incredibly cute and very petite. We talked for a bit and then she got up and started dancing for me. Not any specific form of dance, and it wasn't like she was stripping or anything, but it was sexy and I could tell by the way she was doing at it that she was trying to hit on me and hook up.

Then I woke up.

Also, the "big important stand-up evaluation set" at Yuk Yuk's last night went really well. I won't know my final mark for about another week or so, but I think I should get some pretty good comments. At least, it got a great audience reaction, which of course doesn't mean it got a great judge reaction. Oh well, I guess we'll see. It doesn't really matter to me anyway, since I don't really plan on pursuing stand up (at least so far)... but it's always nice to know, you know?

I'm off to take my guitar into a keyboard lounge and jam around and work on a few things for a bit.
