He died when a giant pushed a wall on him, IIRC. But I thought wizards weren't supposed to die as easily as Muggles. I don't understand why someone who's supposed to be such a talented wizard had to die when hit by a rock. It just seemed silly.

Though I have much Percy love now which has nothing to do with my go!good!Percy prediction from OotP. lol.

Apparently, giants push much harder than human-sized bipeds--and he wasn't looking. ?? (That part didn't perplex me, so it's possible that I'm missing part of the problem.)

I thought he was killed by the wall being pushed over by the giant. Maybe it's the malice of intent that counts.

I had to re-read that passage, then put the book down for ten minutes to have a good cry. I cann't believe she killed Fred...

Yeah, it was weird. I just figured a wizard might get hurt badly, but probably not die. Clearly, I thought wrong.
