I would like to make a something very clear, since there are those who seem to think asking more than once will yield a more preferable response.

Unfortunately, it's also the truth. And if there is one thing I picked up from listening to my mother talk to her boss on the phone, it's the consequences of practicing law without a license.

I'm speaking plainly about the law at hand, and nothing about consequences of practicing law without a license. Just because you see yourself as a child, it does not mean that your opinion means nothing in this case. The truth is that you're still stuck here with the rest of us.

I'm not a child, I'm eighteen. So, technically, unless this crappy city has some weird set of statutes regarding age of majority, that would make me an adult. Calling myself a kid is meant more as a foil for the fact that I don't have a profession yet, and my mother does. I know I'm stuck here. I've already accepted it.
