I guess winter has me down because I'm feeling blah and bored. Inspiration is seriously lacking right now. I pushed my drawing books, pencils, and paper off to the side and grabbed hold of an old, "teach yourself css" book instead. Think I'll work with that for a while. The change of pace might do me good since I have a bad habit of sticking to one ( Read more... )

Oh wow, I didn't realize it was already that time either. I'll have to remember that.

Grats on quitting smoking. I know how hard that is. I tried 2x before I got pregnant and actually succeeded.

Lousy weather will wreck havoc on your mood. Hang in for sunshine and you'll be fine. :)

HA, I know, the Daylight Saving thing is pissing my mom off, although I'm not sure what she had planned for that hour of darkness.

I've been waiting to see New Amsterdam, the guy from it (to attempt the spelling without Google, Nikolai Coster-Waldau?) is from Enigma, and that's one of my favorites, so I'm hoping the show does well.

I'm having a hard time watching tonight's Idol, the arrangements of the '80s songs (my music!) are making me twitchy, but yeah, I like the guys better this year. (Castro's doing Hallelujah. ZOMG!)

Here's to 50 smokeless days, that's a rough-ass thing to be doing (but my mum's going on 10 years, and I never believed she'd pull that off), so hell yeah!

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I cringe at some of the arrangements too. lol Congrats to your mom for staying away from cigarettes for 10 years. That's quite an accomplishment.

This is my 4th attempt at quitting smoking, and so far I haven't had any slip ups this time. Had them the past 3 times though. And yeah, it's really hard. I prepared for a couple of months by keeping track of how many ciggies I smoked each day, then cutting down by 2 each day. It wasn't easy. I turned to a paper journal at the time. Writing my reasons for wanting to quit and exploring the way I was feeling helped me a lot I think.

i havent given up, but
i gave up on my 2nd attempt, haha ~
good thing there's still hope :)
