Easter was nice, especially since I didn't have to cook or anything. :D My 84 year old mom-in-law (bless her heart) did the honors, and once again she overdid it with the food. Here is her menu for 8 adults and 3 kids. (ages: 2, 6, and 10 ( Read more... )

Thanks *hugs* And yes, Thistle is an 11 year old cat. So far she seems to be doing okay because of the insulin shots. :) I just need to stop tensing up when I'm about to inject her because that causes her to tense up.

That reminds me of my ex-MIL. She was like that with cooking for an army and wanting me to eat enough for three people. Hehehe. At least she cooked good though!! :D

I hope your husband's surgery goes well. How scary. And poor kitty. That would take me a LONG time to get used to having to give shots my dogs. Man o man. I hate needles. That would be so hard. I hope she gets to feeling better.

I hate needles too, especially when I have to stick one into my cat. Eek! I hope I get the hang of this soon.

I never made egg drop soup but mom-in-law's sure tastes good! As to what it is...
