Today was extremely hot, so the band wasn't outside for as long as we usually are. Once again I helped out with saxophone sectionals because Lain doesn't really know how to teach very well. I was at band camp again today. It was pretty much the same as yesterday. Well, less people passed out. A few people had to rest a little after doing 5 laps. The band was punished one lap for everyone who was late. Oh, and they got an extra lap because Ash beat the band at running a lap. Band camp was brutal today. A lot of people were passing out or had to go sit out for a while to collect themselves. I even saved Linus from falling on his face. Last night I was talking to a guy named Josh who's going to USC with me. We've been talking on and off throughout the whole summer. The only reason I added him was because he was going to my orientation session. But, something happened and he ended up going to a later one. Today was the first full day of band camp. Not a lot of people showed up. It was a little depressing because you couldn't tell who was on vacation or who quit.
