 All of the sudden I see I haven't written here in quite some time.  I was, in fact, silent to the point of being prodded by others, which is always a little unnerving, but here I am.  I have virtually nothing of substance for you guys, so I'm just gonna put up a good old fashioned list.  It's what I do

yay. i'm glad you updated :) sorry if i pestered you. but looking at an empty friends page saddened me.

i agree with you on 15. and kudos about 11. i think i'm going to forego financial security if i get into grad school. this of course means i have to finish applying to grad school which means i have to write alot of bullshit essays. so here's wishing myself luck on that. if you make it to katy...before i take off, please call. :)

The Tobias Wolff book is good. You should really, really read Shiloh and Other Stories by Bobbie Ann Mason. I'm about to finish it, and it ranks among the best collections I've ever encountered.

If the library has it- I'm in. I still have to read the last collection you recommended, but I'm flying through pages these days so I assume it will happen. I'm glad you like Tobias Wolff... I feel a bit childish for being such a fan, but it just can't be helped.
