Ok, so I've put off writing about Star Wars for quite some time now. But I suppose I have to vent about it sometime. I was planning on waiting until after seeing the new Clone Wars movie, but... well... that's part of my two reasons for the venting. Lemme 'splain

I don't know much about The Force Unleashed, but we saw Clone Wars, and it was two hours of my life I'd like back--a cliched fanfiction-esque story about Anakin's sassy teenaged Padawan that he had for the space of a day or two, multiple Hutt-related fart and cross-dressing jokes, and a few minutes of fanservice for die-hard fans of Asajj Ventress.

I think I'm frequently more forgiving of George Lucas than most of our circle of friends is, but I won't deny that this one was a near-epic fail.

*sigh* I was really hoping to be wrong about that one, too... well, maybe the fanbase will reject it thoroughly enough to (eventually) send it to the depths of obscurity alongside the Star Wars Holiday Special. Hey, I can dream, right?
