The Savior of the Broken. the Beaten, and the Damned

One day,
I'll leave you,
a phantom,
to lead you in the summer to
join the Black Parade

Stayed home sick today. And I bet you I missed nothing.

I'm trying to write an entry for this Holocaust writing contest held in WA. You have to read this poem and then answer the question "How do our actions affect those around us?" in poem, essay, or short story ( Read more... )

Pan's Labrinth was one of the best movies ive seen all year. Artistic, beautiful, capturing, great plot, very good acting. You know, you saw it. Personally, I loved it. Onme thing I'm not sure about, was it a happy or sad ending? I can't tell. i guess it was a mix of both depending on how you look at it.

Yeah. I like to think it was a happy ending in its own, unhappy way. But yet...happy. : )

*hums* I haven't heard from you in a bit. But I suppose you haven't heard from me either, so we're even. *g*

Goofy can be good, you know. Goofy can be really, really good.

We have a Holocaust thing here too- in English. We just finished Night, and we were assigned different people within the Holocaust to write an essay about. I got this awesome little ten-year-old Polish girl named Jeanine, who's town is occupied by the Nazi's. She's funny and clever and just so awesome. When her dog bites a soldier and he kills it, her family has the words 'The Little Angel Who Bit the Devil' carved into the gravemarker. She and her brothers also make a Hitler snowman, put their grandfather's chamberpot on its head and then beat it to death with sticks. And after Hitler-man had been completely destroyed, she and her brothers held hands and sang the Polish national anthem. *g*

Writing is good for the soul.

What's FOB?

*grin* I know this is completely horrible but even though I've only listened to two of their songs and maybe three of P!atD, I've been reading sparkley bandslash. Only instead of tight leather pants and frosted highlights like popslash, its with girl!pants and emo-ness. I think the one I read was...Ryan from FoB and...Pete? from P!. *grins* It was cute.
