Echoes of Voices

I just realized I'm a memory in here.

It's rather frightening really.

I mean, anyone who still reads this journal (if there is anyone who still reads this journal) doesn't really think of me. I mean, I'm the past tense. I happened. I have no immediate impact on anyone's life in here. Few people might remember something that happened when I was around ( Read more... )

I would like to point out that, though I have not expierenced the "moving" ghost syndrome, the chalkboard syndrome is something I know all to well.

There are some of us who still read this, Robin. Who think and smile at memories yes, and wish you were still here.

You're not so much past tense as lost from us, disconnected. You are still very much present tense, darling.

And I realise I'm not the best person to be writing this; come on, it's me, Erin, the strange girl you knew for what, less than half a year?

But perhaps...that makes it clearer? *shrugs* I don't know. I'm babbling, can you tell?

*indignant noise* Excuse you, miss. You're not a just a past tense to me, sweetie. You're a future tense as well, thanks. This, *waves at distance* is silly and is meaningless to us, kay? We don't talk much any more, not as a present, but we will.

And if that last line is supposed to be 'no one knows what I'm talking about' you got another think coming, missy.

I'm sorry about Brian. I wish I knew what else to say, honey.

I only mean no one knows what I'm talking about in the literal sense.

::smiles:: I'm not.
