The library is not to be used as impromptu resting quarters. You may ask Ms. Statdfeld this, and she will agree. If I find more people using the library as a place to sleep, I will not hesitate to remove them from my presence.

But we can't really help it if we fall asleep...

Such deplorable behavior should not be tolerated. If you cannot remain conscious during your time in the library, perhaps you should leave in order to make room for a student or staff member who would put it to better use.

I-It's like like I knew I was going to- I mean, it's not like I would know I was going to fall asleep when I went in!

Somebody's been sleeping in the library now? You are lucky it wasn't something worse, you know, especially during the school year.

Oh yes. A young, female Defense Against Dark Arts Teachers Assistant, to be specific.

Kallen fell asleep in the library? What was she even doing?

She's sick, she shouldn't be staying out so late! [ Guess who's gonna go to the library and see if she's still there ]

[Yup and she's there. Six books are in a stack while four other ones are open on the table around her. Note taking? Maybe. Most of the books look lik they're about DADA, so it's good to assume she was doing some TA related work. Although two books are related but not (about Aurors). There's a nice long streak of black in on her notes (thankfully not her journal, books, or table). Looks like she fell asleep writing something.

Kallen's breathing is heavy and she's sweating more than she probably could. It's summer and hot, but not that hot. She didn't mean to fall asleep (or past out). Honest!]

Wan Shi Tong is going to kill you for this. [ Thobari whispers. GUESS WHO'S TERRIFIED AND INTIMIDATED BY THE LIBRARIAN? ]

[ Thobari's just gonna swoop in and pick her up. A flick of his wand and the books are zooming back to their shelves; he doesn't have time to check into what she was doing. She's obviously sick; that's what matters. ]

How she feels is not important to me, the fact she chose to rest in the library does.

If she cannot control herself then she is not welcome in the library.

It is refreshing to finally see a student who understands.

The library is an integral source for us students, sir. It would be illogical to disrespect the institution itself or the authorities who govern it.

There are many students who could learn from your example, Mr. Beilschmidt.
