Eh, I've definitely seen better ways. C and I talked today and were civil, more than civil, casual even, and that was good. There were some elements of the conversation that made me wonder why I'm bothering to go through these motions of proving myself when it'd be just as easy to slip in to the gutter, strung out and alone. See, either way I'm alone, it's just what path I take to get there. Eh, that's a really negative way to look at it, but I'm a CDP - Chicago Drunk Punk - and grew up on the streets so I sometimes forget that I'm almost 30 and have to be responsible and whatnot. I forget a lot. She doesn't.
