Was going to suggest what Dan and Illsh suggested already -- Toyota Celicas from the 90s maintain a 5/5 for long-lasting quality from J.D. Power/Consumer Reports ratings. Go for it.

That, or get a motorcycle. I'm not even kidding, those things take like $5-7 to fill up a tank.

Also, where do you work, I totally forgot.
