Well I ate the whole box and I haven't had any adverse effects (other than having to work off the calories) so I think they were safe. Besides, the rest of the stamp doesn't match a normal date format.
I also got a kick out of how it says "savourez en pleine santé avec ma bénédiction." Enjoy in good health with my blessing? Dude, they must be REALLY good for you if they've been blessed or something...
