Nice job, Thrae. I like this type of meme. It kinda makes me want to do something similar for one of my stories. You just keep adding things to my to-do list, eh?

Also, your comment about the Setesh guard in Part I made me snort out loud.

Thanks. Looked fun when I saw it, so figured I'd try it. Look forward to seeing yours.

Good choice. Ouroboros would probably also be good, but since it's a bazillion pages long, I'd go with your idea. Even Pesadilla was a bit too long for this.

She holds out her hand in the way Jack showed her the day before. Daniel shakes it. I was trying to get across a friendly, curious and culturally different people in as few words as possible.

I think you succeeded.

How does an archaeologist/anthropologist relax? By being a cliché, of course.
Hee!

I really liked this fic in how it gradually showed Daniel getting sick...badly sick.

Despite the Linvris and MacKenzie, because Janet has more than made up for it in her ceaseless efforts to keep him and the rest of his team alive. Also, she makes a mean Singapore Sling.

I think these are the moments I especially love in your writing. Offhand comments that hint at so much more beneath the surface. It keeps the characters feel alive off the show and off the page. Not just existing to get through the crisis of the week/fic.

There there, Daniel. Technically I’m the one who killed her.Bwah! You evil authoress, you ( ... )

That may be the nicest writing comment anyone's ever given me.

I didn't realize Chelsea may still be patient zero, btw. But I did keep wondering how the flu ended up in the UK after she'd arrived here in Colorado Springs. If she was patient zero there first...and that's really cool. That the sickness this time might not actually be from the alien mumbo jumbo!Since the SGC wouldn't have reported Daniel's or Janet's cases to the CDC, the CDC traced the virus back to Chelsea as patient zero. But if Daniel didn't bring the bug back through the stargate, then it stands to reason that the CDC was probably right and Chelsea was or was close to the primary infection case. Poor little squirt infected her mother, then flew to Denver, infecting a bunch of people on her flight (some of whom ( ... )
