Icon Meme
Meme instructions:

Coincidently, it's almost the same as one of aurora_novarum's main icons. The fact it was picked for this is not-so-coincidental, since she's the one who did the picking. amaranthtraces made it, along with a bunch of others that can be located here [/flagrant pimpage]. I see it as a representation of the teamy goodness I'm so fond of (sorry, Jack. I meant, of course, 'of which I'm so fond'). I prefer the classic team to the ones of season 6, 9 or 10. Not that I don't like Mitchell, Vala and Jonas. Just that I prefer my four favs all together, kicking ass and taking names.
That being said, I'm not above enjoying a few thoughts (and fics) of them in the 'purest' sense of OT4. ;)

While I entirely enjoy great gen fics, I do like shipping my two dearest geniuses together. Can I help it if certain sceen caps scream 'PORN!' to me? This was my first attempt at Photoshopping up an icon myself. I should probably make an effort to make it square at some point, but for now I'm too lazy.

Ah, Zippy. My most favouritest Stargate villain. I love his cocky attitude and his fabulous sneer. I had to go and devise a fic with him as the badass just to have an excuse to watch Pretense and Summit 137 times (slave!Daniel was a sweet bonus). But seriously, the man snake is in dire need of some fashion advice. People who are 6'4 should not be wearing tiny little skirts.

My default icon. It's just a screen cap from The Changeling. I find it very versatile. It's a bit melancholy, what with the fall leaves in the background and a dead Daniel in the front. But strangely soothing. Good for sympathy from afar or other rambling. It's also neutral enough that it's suitable whenever I forget to change my icon, which is approximately all the time.

My munchkin. Despite only being five months old (and only three months in the photo), he already has his own Internet handle. amaranthtraces dubbed him T-Fap, which stands for Thraesja's Former Abdominal Parasite. He's the cutest baby ever [/maternal bias]. He's also the reason my online presence is somewhat scattered these days. I expect this to last for the next, oh, eighteen years.
