I was thinking I'd do something funny/oddly intelligent and note here that Lacanism is open source, meaning anyone can add to it (in a limited state. The basic tenent is that there are very few tenents, and that overcomplicating religion leads to failure. Thus, allowing people to add to this basic principle is retarded. Rather, they could explain what they believe, and edit it over time, and others could draw from the experience of their predecessors-- this depends on others joining my religion, which will not happen. But its a good ideal, I think.) Unfortunately, a quick google revealed Open Source Judaism. I know not what it is, and I'm too disappointed to look, because the point is... I was not the first to think of an open source religion. I'm never the first. Sigh.

I have never found one relgion which satisfies me because religions are the solidified form of one group of peopkle's collective beliefs as started by one man and edited by others over time. I have my own set of beliefs, moral values and rules of conduct and if I find something that challenges them, they are not set in stone and can be changed, though it takes something special to do so ( ... )
