Irony is: Ie been offered a job at broomhill at boots for three days of work, Im going to take it till I find better, I told them this, its three days as stated and (incl) every other saturday, and no sundays. Its better than going on the dole or sick and generates a form of income to play with till manchester/london... But am I mad........?

Yes, you are, but that has nothing to do with your work :)

You'll probably find that 3 days a week in a vaguely depressing job is a lot more bearable than full time, and as you say it may well be preferable to navigating the depths of the benefit system.

I'm mad too and I don't work for Boots. It doesn't always correlate! Besides, who cares if you are mad? Only a normal person would care, and what's normal anyway? Just enjoy an improvement in the cash flow from zero days to three days.

One was thinking more of the higher cost of living in the capital, the extended commute times due to the overstretched transportation infrastructure and not to mention the lack of rural spaces... Although the chance of seeing you in next to nowt in Lash is as good an excuse as any to try persuade you to stay up north :P

No not mad at all..now if it had been back at the High St store..that would have been barmy! btw..that bloke who was begging, he followed me down hill after you'd gone, was quite aggressive..I dont know you try to be polite to people eh!
