Who wouldn't be? Silks, velvets, furs, these are not materials to dispose of without thoughtful consideration. To do away with someone else's is cruel.

[Normally, he'd try an re-establish the connection, knowing that the only person who'd back off like that is likely the one person he should be talking to. But he doesn't. Can't. Not yet. Not after hearing her so happy to be married, considering children, two things he can't and won't give her and while it's possible that the happiness was curse-induced, he's worried that it's not. So he can't talk to her right now, not when he is literally and metaphorically stripped down by what he's seen and heard.

[There's a wry chuckle.] The other stylists suggested it. As a way to... help the new person in the club, I guess. I, on the other hand, think that was one of the worst disgraces to fashion I'd seen in a long time.
