araanaz9 said I had to post this. So I am posting. Untitled Koyama and Uchi drabble (with not-at-all-stealthy Koyama/Shige).
“So, you and Shige, huh?” Uchi asks, smirking.
“Eh?!” is Koyama’s eloquent response.
Uchi laughs, much to Koyama’s chagrin. “I think even some of the patients have noticed. You two suck at being stealthy.”
“Are you serious?” Koyama asks pathetically. “I thought...damn.”
“It’s okay,” Uchi points out. “It’s not against the rules or anything.”
“I know,” Koyama says. “But I don’t need everybody here knowing about my sex life.”
“Sex already, huh?” Uchi asks.
“It’s just an expression!” he protests, but his bright red cheeks suggest otherwise.
“Relax,” Uchi says, chuckling. “I’m happy for you. And hey, maybe finally getting some will make Shige a little less uptight.”
“Hey!” Koyama objects, but then he smiles. “I bet you’re just jealous cause you’re not getting any.”
“Shut up,” Uchi grumbles. “Not all of us are lucky enough to find hot doctors to sweep us off our feet.”
“How about Nishikido-sensei?” Koyama suggests, grinning.
“Ryo-chan?” Uchi looks a little taken aback, but manages to hide it in his voice. “Not quite what I had in mind.”
“You never thought about it? I know you guys have been friends forever, but...he’s definitely a hot doctor.”
“He’s a hot doctor who I’ve known since he was, like, this big,” Uchi says, holding a hand up around the level of his waist.
Koyama laughs. “Isn’t he older than you?”
Uchi grins mischievously. “Remind me to bring you a picture some time. Anyway, it’s not the same. He’s just...Ryo-chan, you know?”
Koyama smiles. “If you say so...”
“Hey!” Uchi protests. “What’s that-?”
“I have to go help with group therapy,” Koyama cuts in smoothly.
“That’s not fair,” Uchi whines, but Koyama just puts on a serious, professional expression (even though his eyes are twinkling.)
“I’ll see you later, Uchi-san,” he says.
