Writing progress - looking back, looking forward

Once again, a bit negligent - I've been out and about and to the carnival.

Recent wonders:
  • "Teaching on Mars" was published in September's Asimov's
  • "Where the Rabbits Run, Near the Shore" has gone live at inkscrawl
  • "The Gravedigger's Song" was accepted by Underneath the Juniper Tree
Long-ago delights:

It's good to see you! How was the carnival?

Well done on all the sales! :) "Where The Rabbits..." is a great poem; "He prayed, his mouth/ripe with lavender, while I listened in the dark" is such a rich sentence. It pays re-reading.

The carnival was lovely. Went again yesterday to stave off the blahs...partially successful. :)

Thank you about "Where the Rabbits Run". I really loved writing that poem. I appreciate your feedback!

While the dogs snooze, the mind leaps? Congratulations on so many poems finding good homes!

Oh, thank you!

I'm really pleased with that poem; it took over ten years to write that experience into a poem, but I got it!
