Ooooh, yay! A new chapter so soon after I discover this little bit of genius. My god, this first meet between Billy and Moist is hilarious. The mist machine! Amazing. And Billy not having bus fair? So priceless.

And now I'm intrigued. Is the Dollhouse watching Billy? Is it the ELE? I cannot wait for Billy and Topher to cross paths again!

Aww! Thank you so much! I try to update fairly regularly, I'm so glad you liked this!

This meeting was suppose to be a lot more dramatic. I had this whole conversation planned out in the dark about insecurities and evil and all sorts of really dramatic stuff...and then I wrote the first line, and for some reason that made me laugh, and then I threw in the mist machine, and then I decided the drama could probably wait. I'm glad it worked out!

They'll meet in the next chapter! I promise! And then the drama will return. Thank you so much for commenting, I'm glad you like this =D

Thank you so much! Again, I originally wanted this meeting to be really dramatic, but then I decided it would be better if it was just awkward and funny. I think I like it this way better, it feels like it fits a bit better.

Plus, the next chapter's really, really dramatic. Hehehe...

Thank you again for your amazing comments. I'm really glad you like this.

Another awesome chapter of course! And hopefully we'll get more of Mr Brink in the next one. I loved Moist in this though, and Billy's use of "hardcore" which is very nerdy and very THEM.

Loving this story.

Oh my God! Thank you so much for continuing to read this, and for continuing to comment!

Topher makes a grand return next chapter, as does pretty much everyone I've introduced so far, I think, short of maybe the teacher from the beginning...

Also, I use the word "hardcore" a lot. I base a lot of these conversations on my friends, who talk a lot like how I would imagine Billy, Moist, and Topher do. I'm glad it worked. Thank you so much for all your feedback =D

YES. YES YES YES. This was just so ... so right. Their interaction was perfect, the characterisation was so on, and I found that I read through it far too fast because I couldn't wait to get to the next paragraph!

mist machine lol

Also, this transition:
He was ready for the moment, for the gasp, for the big reveal. The man was almost through the wall of mist now, just a few more steps and he’d find -

Splat!

The ground, apparently.

Quickly, Billy bent down to help him. “Oh god,” he said, “Are you ok?”

It reminded me forcibly of the Dr. Horrible trailer, where there's silence and then the voiceover guy is like, "... THIS GUY." And Billy's all stammering. xD

Beautiful. Can't wait for more!

Oh my God! Wow, thank you so much! Once I decided to not make this an epic scene of dramatic meeting, I had a ridiculous amount of fun writing it. I'm glad I got the characters right, I'm always worried about that. A lot of what they say is based on conversations between my friends, since they talk fairly similarly. And wow, I'm glad this isn't getting boring!

And yeah, lol the mist machine. I didn't think that would get nearly as many laughs as it did, I just threw it in there for my own amusement =D

Dude, that trailer is so epic. Like, seriously, I remember watching it and laughing like crazy and waiting for it come out. I'm glad I could emulate that, lol.

Thank you so much for commenting, and for reading. I'm so glad you like this, like you have no idea.

I'm really enjoying this, espically Topher's early years.

Thank you! I'm glad you're liking it! Topher's early years were fun because I didn't really have much to go on, so I was free to basically make it all up. I'm glad it worked!
