Wow, thanks for still reading this! I thought that between the two of them, Billy would be the passionate, driven one, while Topher would be more apathetic. Billy's always struck me as a sort of activist, while Topher's just sort of in it for the fun of it =D

I've always loved Billy's intensity, and as mentioned above, Topher's nonchalance plays well off it. Very cool.

Thank you! I like contrasting characters, especially ones who are close because it can either go really, really well for them, or horribly, devastatingly wrong, and I like those sorts of weird relationships.

Oh, this is so great! I was so happy to see chapter two! You completely nailed the characterisations in the first few paragraphs and it just got better from there. I can totally see all of this happening.

Oh my God, thank you! I did a lot of skipping to scenes of just Topher in random Dollhouse episodes to get Topher's voice down, and I watched the Blog...a lot. I'm glad I managed to pull it off, I was really worried about college!Topher-and-Billy sounding right!
