It has happened several times actually. Both Mimmi and Herz were here before, left, and came back with no recollection of it. I see it as a clue, but this whole thing is so beyond me I am having a hard time getting my head around it.
Welcome to the Elegante Link. My name is Katherine.
Ah, okay... I met Mimmi earlier, too. So, if I'm reading you right, do you mean this sort of thing isn't all that wide-spread? Like most people don't leave and come back?
You are right. It only happens occasionally. I only know of three times myself, but there could be more. I have only been here for a little over 3 months.
It makes me really wonder about what is going on here.
It is an appropriate question, Hero--and one that unfortunately, I do not have an answer to. Up until the moment you had arrived, I had never crossed paths with the possibility.
[It does bring her some food for thought. To think Link would forget her... It meant that Jak could too. If he manages to ever leave. It leaves the princess a little solemn--if missing Anri doesn't.]
[He hasn't forgot her at all - Link could never forget her. But if she was thinking about forgetting the events on the boat, then yes.]
Well, think about it, Princess. People say that the me that was here before was from before we defeated Ganondorf... the adult me. But that he left only a month or so ago... don't you think that's strange?
I was under the impression that he had been returned to his rightful time. I cannot deny that it is... a very odd... feeling for me to have to be faced with you after having seen him. The rest of this world can change and the people in it, yet I always seem the same. It makes me feel as though I am lost within this time and everything is... simply on pause for me.
[She taps her frog absentmindedly, wondering what in the world it's going to be good for. She'll have to ask the crew about it later, most likely around the time she writes to Captain Redd.]
[He breathes a laugh at that. Link supposes Zelda couldn't possibly imagine how warped time feels for him, though, so he can't fairly blame her.]
That's just the thing, though... if he was sent back. That was a month ago. But I'm here again now, and the time that's lapsed for me since then... well, it's been much longer then a month.

Okay, thanks, Ms. Kathrine.

Oh, and, uh, I--I'm Herz, by the way.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Herz!

I-I guess there probably is.
[He sounds a little more than reluctant to consider any more questions when it comes to the boat.]
Just--j-just Herz is okay. I-I'm not as--as old as I sound. Not old enough to--to be a 'Mister.'

Oh... okay. Sorry, Herz.
How old are you, then? I'm eleven.

Urgh, it's hard... for me to explain.
