Everyone, this is Link. Erol is in the infirmary. I'm going to be waiting there until he's recovered.

[Erol eyes the bizarre version of Link. He's on entirely too much sedation for his liking, but he's JUST sharp enough to realize that was a strange request.]

[Since there aren't any chairs here wide enough for him to sit in, Link has his massive rocky body plopped onto the floor next to Erol's bed. Even then, his legs are short, so most of his height is from his waist and up - he can still see Erol's face as they're speaking.

And he looks a little grumpy. He's got both of his hands resting on his big goron belly.]

I'm hungry.

[Erol arches a dubious eyebrow. He has quite a firm grasp on acerbic wit, even sedated.]

[It's a good thing Link can see him from the floor, because Erol's movement is limited. Not much he can do with damaged chest and stomach muscles. He'll be on his back for a good while.]

I'm not going back to normal as long as I'm here. And besides, if someone just brings me a bunch now, I'll be set... rocks don't spoil like Hylian food.

[Glances back at him. Darmani can't believe he's doing this and it's made him a little bit on edge.]

[Zelda cannot deny how strange it is to hear Link say anything about being near Erol. The old Link might not have done that. He certainly has some wisdom here, and it makes Zelda very happy to hear it.]

[He really would love to see her, actually. It's not like this ordeal has been easy on his nerves. Although he really, really would prefer she not get anywhere near Erol, he's sure she'll be visiting eventually.]

If you come here at some point, maybe we can step out into the hallway before you leave, or something like that.
