I've been listening to soundtracks lately: Amelie from Montmartre, O Brother, Where Art Thou, and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Amelie is just all round awesome--Yann Tiersen's accordion and piano compositions are just remarkable. This album for me is like water for fish. And although I had the O Brother soundtrack before, I don't know

might i ask--what are you studying, exactly? it all sounds so fascinating and you're travelling everywhere!

My university's actually a little different--it's a liberal arts school but offers concentrations instead of majors. I'm a humanities concentration, focusing on education and the arts. One aspect of our school is a mandatory semester of study abroad in our junior years. Because our school's mission is to foster "global citizens," language is a huge priority and we have to take either Spanish, Japanese or Chinese for two years. And now, here I am in Ecuador testing that which I've acquired during my first two years. c:
