I'm sure I either worry my neighbors to death, or give them endless hours of amusement at my antics - maybe both. One thing I try to be absolutely compulsive about is ALWAYS having my cell phone in my pocket when I do yard work. If the tree falls on me and my neighbors are NOT watching, at least then maybe I'll be able to call for help!

I do try always to be careful. When I get a bit worn out, though, sometimes my judgement slips. I think that was one of those times. Where did I think all that stuff was going to go when I pulled on that branch? Why didn't I inspect the branch and the mother branch more closely so I could have anticipated the big one would come down, too? I must have just been a bit too tired to think properly. Lesson learned!
