"Day of the Doctor" is the 50th Anniversary special and it IS out on DVD. "Time of the Doctor" is the Christmas Special that does the regeneration, and won't be out on DVD - but might be for pre-order. There shouldn't be any other new DVD things out there; there aren't on the Canadian Amazon site, anyhow.

If there are, mention them by title, maybe someone can clear things up better.

Christmas Specials are usually ultimately attached to the DVD sets for the season that follows them so in theory you can wait and get the Christmas Special with Series Eight -- but, like the multiple "specials" they did at the end of Tennant's run, the 50th Anniversary special probably won't be.

(If you see things called "Night of the Doctor" or "The Last Day" Those are mini-eps that are preludes to the 50th Anniversary special -- and are on the DVD with the special. Ignore 'em).
