Another dumb question - this time about RSS feeds

I'm on Ravelry. It says you can - I don't know - get(?) the RSS feed for your projects by clicking on the RSS button on your Projects page. So when I do that, I get a whole big pagefull of what looks like html code. What the hell am I supposed to do with that? I have looked all over Ravelry and can't find anybody talking about this. I tried it out. I'm not sure why you'd subscribe to your own projects, but when I click on the RSS button on mine I'm offered a feed of projects, finished objects, comments on them, and friends' projects. When I picked the comments, I got the actual feed showing on my screen:
http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Vilakins/comments.rss
I can then subscribe with one of the options at the top of the page.

When I put the url into another browser, I did see some HTML flash up, then the page. So it took some time to load for you?

Who are you on Ravelry? I'm Vilakins (of course).

Hi Vilakins! I'm going to go request your friendship on Rav when I get done here. If you don't want it that's OK. There are many reasons people decline these offers - I for one ignore all emails I get from anyone from LinkedIn, for example, because that site is of no use to me. So no worries ( ... )

I guess if you want all your projects showing up on your blog that's fine, but I don't. I just do a post now and then of finished objects so those who aren't interested can ignore it.

Feel free to friend me there! I'd like to see what you do too.
