Give me your two cents... how am I doing? Flaming ≠ concrit; it won't be tolerated!

All I ask is that you be civil and mature. Because if you throw a barrage of "you suck" at me, I'm probably just going to laugh. 8|

This is less me giving you crit and more me wanting an explanation for the relationship Zoro has with his... girlfriend? Unless I'm mistaken here. If so, feel free to shoot this anon.

I'm not saying Zoro can't have relationships, but he strikes me as too driven for his goals and his crew, and too apathetic to really consider a serious one. So if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to hear your thoughts on how it developed. Obviously this is rp, a setting that is not the Grand Line, and anything can happen.

Just... it strikes me as odd and a hair away from OOC when looking through their threads.

I can totally see how anyone who's on the outside of actually playing this/him could see it that way, and really... I'm surprised this is the first time this has been asked. So um, please forgive my extreme tl;dr on the matter. Hopefully it'll make sense/explain things.

Discedo as a whole has kind of... really broken Zoro and forced him to rebuild from the ground up. The idea for the pairing had been tossed around jokingly, but as time went on, we kind of found little inklings here and there for plausible ways to make it happen. When it all really began, from an IC standpoint, it wasn't ever intentional. Zoro was very focused on his goals, and getting himself and what crew members were in Discedo back to the Grand Line ASAP. But then things started happening - things that were entirely out of his control. Umi had become something honorary nakama. She was close with the OP cast that was there. So when bad things happened to her, it began to get under his skin much in the way someone just fucking with Luffy would have.

It took him ( ... )

I probably should've taken into account how old your Zoro is. Progression through an rp tends to change a few things here and there (especially in a place like Discedo), and keeping one for over a year is damn impressive.

But that all made sense to me! I figured there is plenty of material to back up the relationship Zoro has, but I just wanted to hear it from one of the muns myself. xD So I thank you for taking the time out to explain the reasoning behind it. /o/ I quite enjoyed the read.

It's fine! Even I forget that he's an old fart in RP-terms. I've tried to keep him as true to his core as possible, despite all the bizarre changes he's gone through.

I'm glad it made sense though, since I'm tired and delirious. And hardly ever make sense anyway. And I didn't mind explaining it -- after all, it's not outright stated anywhere. Maybe I should consider making a little note in here about the changes, actually. \o/ Thank you for reading all of that, wonderful anon!

Hey Aly. I noticed you haven't really been playing Zoro as much as your other muses. He barely tags his canonmates, or he only tags some of them (I only saw him tag Sanji and Nami recently) and it's kind of worrisome. Are you having issues with the rest of his canonmates or the muse as a whole, or even the series? Because the lack of interactions with his close nakama are kind of worrying.

I'm not having any issues? Save for the fact that I haven't answered a single tag since Monday, save for maybe 3 with any of my characters, there's really no issue at all. I hadn't been tagging because of the canon update, and I just haven't really been in much of an RPing mood this week? I'll get back into it and tag any of my canonmates posts I've missed in the next couple of days when my drive comes back.
