You will need to meet me at the Clark State Forest parking lot (you went there for a race last year) at around 10:30am on Saturday morning. I have to be there by 0900 for some team-related stuff and I don't expect you to be up there that early.
For info on the race (and a Google Earth guide to the course - very handy!), follow this link:
- Each driver must provide a valid driver's license and proof of insurance along with VIN# - This is required by USCF permit and will have to be logged - Also every volunteer must sign a volunteer release form, again required by USCF - Make sure the vehicle has enough fuel to go the length of the race without stopping - Lead-car is to stay ahead of the leader of the race, not providing any assistance (draft) or hindrance to racers - All Lead cars must have a mobile phone so they can relay information to race officials (i.e. accident/crash/ ambulance) - Each car is to have a sign visible from front and back listing the race group (i.e. cat 1,2,3) - Lead cars must drive with emergency flashers on and sound horn at intersections, turns, or to warn local residents of the storming peloton
it was really nice. i'd like to go back when i can actually spend some time and see the stuff that i want to see. i didn't get to do a whole lot because i was "working" most of the time. i'm off to south west PA next week.
