No, not in particular. I asked for some pretty expensive things--a couple of instruments. They gave all but one to me. The only other noteworthy thing that happened was the plants we received on Christmas. Perhaps they were feeling charitable.

[She tosses her head and grumbles. She'd like to, of course. The problem is that she can't speak and her envoy is nowhere to be found. There are a few people who can understand her, but she doesn't live with any of them.]
[There's a chance that, de-chipped, Alucard might be able to understand her. He does have a wolf form of his own. As things are though, he's unable to use any of his abilities.]
I can't recall any precise date though it seemed around late spring of last year where they began taking specific requests. Prior to that there were 'rains' of items where people received objects of significance from their world or necessities.

Your father's castle? So you have some experience with these sorts of things.

No, but they became more infrequent. They seemed to be related more to a malfunction with whatever equipment they were using. Considering the often personal nature of the items in question, there may be some kind of psychological connection between the people here and the scientists machine. Also the nature in which people arrive is not completely random either. People who come often know each other.

[Alucard nods, puzzling over the information... he is not exactly surprised to find Sakon's answer useful.]
Did these 'rains' of items cease when the requests began?

[The pause draws out after Sakon's final comment. He was not expecting others to read that, though he's not angry that Sakon, at least, has done so.]
Yes. As I learned there...they can be more than they appear.
