Am I a sucky English major? Two of my teachers have told me to go to Culinary School. I have great grades, but I realize I don't exactly think like the typical English major should. Maybe I should just go and pursue my childhood dream of being a bigshot Hollywood actor. No degree required.

How is a typical english major supposed to think? How are you different from it? Everyone thinks differently; I don't think there's a typical english major or a typical music major or anything like that.

As for Culinary school, are you good at cooking? But I think if you have great grades, just keep going with it if it's something you really want to do. If an english major is not something you want to do, take a step back and think about the major that might be best suited for you.
