[OOC] Vincent's Storylines
"All right, ramblers, let’s get rambling." At his heart, Vince is just "one of the guys." He surrounds himself with men who are just as tough, macho, and rough as he is- basically the sort of guys you’d expect to see hanging out at seedy bars, playing pool and picking fights. He’s used to the company of other angels, but he’ll happily take a few Supernatural Humans/Wanderers under his wings provided they can handle his rough nature. "Fair lady, your chariot awaits." Archangels aren’t protectors, they’re warriors. They just kill because that’s what they’re supposed to do and to hell with who the demons actually hurt. And, again, it’s hard for his kind to get close to people, because they’re oblivious to things that don’t involve hunting down and killing demons. Sometimes Vincent gets a little bit too attached, however, especially to women, because he has a lot of respect for women and nothing pisses him off more than seeing a woman getting mistreated (well besides demons existing, but that goes without saying). The end results are quite disasterous for anyone who dares to hurt one of "his girls." [OPEN]
"You and I have unfinished business." The Hunt is all Vincent lives for. That’s just Archangel nature and while he really isn’t typical in most senses, that will always be true. If he catches a demon in the act, he will hunt that demon down until one of them is dead. Really, The Hunt is the only thing that can turn him from a jovial, fun guy into an outright monster. While he’s on the prowl for Calisto out of duty, he’s not so much locked onto her scent, whereas this one? This one he will be. Tracking this demon down once he’s locked onto them will be one of his top priorities to the point that it consumes him. [ONE OPENING]
"It's mercy, compassion, and forgiveness I lack; not rationality." Like all Archangels, Vincent can get obsessed with The Hunt to the point that he shuts down completely, running on instinct. It’s madness, but he can be brought out of it by the right person. He’s more of a people person than most Archangels, but it’s still a bitch to get close enough to someone that them screaming at him for ten minutes straight about doing suicidal things that’s in his nature to do and act rational for once is actually going to work. It’ll have to be someone he respects for whatever reason, because he tends not to listen to people he doesn’t respect. [ONE OPENING]
"You're a terrific person. You're my favorite person." Vincent’s about middle-age for an angel. Not even close to being a First, but a little older than most of the angels around the hotel, so he sort of commands a little bit of respect from most of his peers who aren’t Firsts or, you know, older than he is, which makes him something of a leader. However, even he turns into the model of a perfect soldier when it comes to this person. He holds them to such high regards that he’d do anything they tell him to without question. "Those of you lucky enough to have your lives, take them with you." The only thing worse than a demon in Vincent’s eyes is someone who likes them or works for them. He can’t fathom any sentient creature actually willingly working for such slime, so he regards those sorts of people with an extreme amount of contempt. He doesn’t kill humans, no matter how bad they are, but if he ever catches a human in the act of doing something particularly vile in the name of a demon, he will hunt them down and make them regret it. "If you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting." Vincent’s got some years on him, so he’s killed quite a few demons and the chance that he killed one that might have left another demon a little sore and desperate for revenge is likely. If there’s a demon hunting him, he’ll take it about as well as you’d be expect and it’ll be a bigger ordeal than any hunt he’s been on before, because hunters don't like to be hunted.
