So my best friend talked me into getting a MySpace Account. She did all the work and it looks great! Not much for me to do on it. I check it everyday. Not much going on. Wonder how long it'll take before I forget about it too. I'm the worlds worst on updating! *sigh* Would rather read then post.

MySpace, huh? Seems to be one of the popular things right now.I deleted mine for lack of time...now I have a hi5 and what- others accounts.
I really don't know about all these people- related sites, I mean, you talk to your friends face to face, right? Why talk to them via the internet the same day? It's crazy, imo :P

I only have like 5 friends on there. All of them are from back home. If nothing else it lets us share pics and things. *shrug*

That wasn't meant to be offensive, or anything. For example, hi5 is a site for sharing photos, as is Ringo, and I have active accounts on both.
What I meant was the following (my case): I'm in high-school/ college with my classmates, some of them my friends outside of school. We talk during breaks and sometimes, during classes, we go home, and then in the evening on the net...'Hi, what's up?' Yes, that thing with the pics is true,it's just that it seems you no longer can be defined as an individual without some internet persona's. You know, like everyone has a MySpace/Facebook/Hi5/Whatever account- you can't no longer not have it.
That was too long, sorry! This isn't meant to be some incursion about the benefits/ disadvantages of the internet :) It's fun to chat with your friends- from time to time!

I didn't take offense. No worries. I held out forever on the myspace. My son is the same way. He sees his friends everyday at school and then talks to them via ims or myspace.

Most of my friends use Facebook. I have one, but I really don't put much detail on it since I'm paranoid of employers/professors seeing it. But I do check it often, and it's great to get the latest gossip on who is doing what from high school!

Facebook? I don't think I've ever heard of it. But I like MySpace so far. I like the page Heather set up for me anyway!

I'll have to check it out. My friend set a MySpace up for me a while ago. I never did anything with it, hmm...I don't even know the password?!?!Facebook started out as just college students - you needed a college email address to get on it. But I think that changed and now it's open for all.

You could always request your password if you wanted. Facebook sounds interesting. But no more places for me to update! I'm doing badly as it is!

The only reason I haven't totally forgotten so far is because Heather goes on her's everyday and she tells me she's going on it. Otherwise, I'd have forgotten.
