I'd like to see the sketches when you get back. Are you going to put any padding/material on the chair?
I think using three different materials would be cool. Hmmm... maybe pleather, some kind of cheap artifical suede and something soft and silky... all black! Maybe fixed in some kind of patch-work? With really thick, white stitching... like on your tattoo.
That'd be neato.
Anyway, cool project idea. Hope you didn't mind the suggestions... It makes me happy to know that you're sketching.
