Another person died today. Somebody drove by a small convoy and shot at them. The dead guy is Iraqi. I'm not sure if the dead dude was working for us. I just had to go over and pull security. Then we had some Iraqi police drag the body out of the truck he was driving, and take him away. I'm definitely unaffected by death. At least the death of

don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I only have about 65 more days until I move to Kuwait. I since I've gotten back, my platoon has been doing a lot less work. I use to get out about everyday, now I'm lucky if I'll get out 4 times a week(my squad leader has really been shaming things). Like I've said, this ain't Vietnam. People aren't dying left and right round here. These Iraqis are mostly cowards anyways. Thanks for your support. I love and miss you.

Yeah, I know it's not Vietnam... but there are still crazy fuckers with guns and bad intentions. I think the American media neglects to report a lot stuff... and if they do it's probably horribly wrong anyway. I just don't like feeling that I'm in the dark on certain issues, esp. issues that involve those I care about. I have a very limited understanding of politics and what's happening in Iraq. The most I've seen of it is the video you let me watch. So it obviously scares me quite a bit, like many things I have trouble understanding. I know you'll be fine. You're built and have a good head on your shoulders. I know that if you're ever put into a bad situation you'll make the best choice concerning yourself and those around you.

if you tell me what unit, battalion, he's in, I'll see if I can find out where he is. But if he isn't in the 3rd Bridgade of the 4th ID, don't count on much.

Yeah, I do know him. Infact, I just did a raid with him a couple of days ago. Sorry I didn't think of him earlier. The name sounded familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on where I heard that name. I'll let him know you said hi.
