I think we do worse things with dead babies here in America. Most of the ones I've heard about are tossed into dumpsters. Sounds like the parents were planning on taking it somewhere to be disposed of (god knows where)... but the trunk was probably only a temporary home. I wouldn't want it riding in the car with me either. Heh.
