I bought two t-shirts in Brazil. They only have those symbols on the care tag. Took me 15 minutes but I found a compleat grimmerie of laundry symbols at

Good resource to have - I had them memorized when I took home economics in Middle School...

The first one is "take shirt off before being tied up underwater"
The second one is "do not wash with black leather pointy hoods"
The last one is "this shirt is not good for knots around hands"

I had a printed out guide in my laundry area for awhile. The symbols aren't exactly obvious, but at least standardized.
