Anyone use Zap2It?

It sounds interesting in that I can specify my TV lineup and record to TiVo from it, but, another service on another server and more online ads? I dunno.

My goal is an easy way to browse what I actually could be seeing and record to my DVR when I'm out of town.

You can use Tivo Website to view your schedule and choose to record a show or get a season pass. If your tivo is connected to your network it should update within 30 minutes, if it dials in it could take up to a day to get your online selections (true with any service)

True. I'm slogging through that right now, but their searching is driving me crazy because it's offering me matches on all the channels I don't get on cable *gak*

I was intrigued by the note that zap2it will let you view 6 hours at a time and skip the channels I don't get (or don't like).

I may have to dive in tonight, I may be missing a show I didn't realize I couldn't live without! :)
